2020 Preseason Strength and Conditioning
2020 Preseason Strength and Conditioning
Starting January 6th, we will begin the next phase of our pre-season training.
We will hold workouts Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3pm to 5:30pm at St. Luke's Fitness & Sports Performance West End Medical Center (501 Cetronia Rd).
Each athlete will be in one of the four following groups:
Group A - All Seniors, Juniors or Sophomores(who were members of Varsity or JV last year) Pitchers and Catchers.
Group B - All Freshmen and Sophomores(who were NOT members of Varsity or JV last year) Pitchers and Catchers.
Group C - All Non-Pitching Position players who were members of Varsity or JV last year.
Group D - All Non-Pitching Position players who were NOT members of Varsity or JV last year.
Mondays & Wednesdays:
3/3:15pm-4:30pm
-Group A and B on the back turf. Group A will start throwing. Group B will start hitting. Halfway through the time slot the groups will switch.
-Group C and D lift.
4:30pm-5:30pm:
-Group A and B lift.
-Group C will start hitting. Group D will start with defense/throwing. Halfway through the time slot the groups will switch.
Fridays:
3:00pm-4:00pm
-Group B and D on the back turf. Group B will start with throwing. Group D will be hitting. Halfway through the time slot the groups will switch.
-Group A and C lift.
4:00pm-5pm:
-Group A and C will have the option to get extra work in on the back turf, otherwise their day is done.
-Group B & D lift.
5:00pm-5:30pm:
-Group B and D on the back turf for conditioning.
